Pfeiffer Vacuum has introduced new compact Roots pumps from the HiLobe series with high pumping speeds, that are designed for applications that call for big chambers to be evacuated quickly.
Pfeiffer Vacuum is expanding the HiLobe sequence via intelligent, excessive efficiency Roots pumps with excessive pumping speeds.
Potential uses of the brand new Pfeiffer Vacuum pumps in industrial vacuum functions include electron beam welding, vacuum furnaces, freeze drying and, notably, rapid evacuations (lock chambers or leak detection systems). These vacuum pumps are also suitable to be used in coating functions and with their individual pace management, they can be adapted to customer-specific requirements.
Their highly effective drive concept shortens pump-down instances by round 20% compared to typical Roots pumps. Rapid evacuation also saves prices and increases the efficiency of manufacturing techniques. The use of energy-efficient drives and the optimised rotor geometries reduces power costs by greater than 50%, additionally bolstered by the sealing idea.
The pumps are hermetically sealed from the atmosphere and have a maximum integral leak price of 1 · 10-6 Pa m³/s. Dynamic seals are eliminated, so upkeep is just needed each four years.
