Unlike diaphragm, rotary lobe, and PC pumps, the peristaltic design of the Watson Marlow Bredel hose pumps contains no moving components that come into contact with the product. It has no seals, ball-checks, diaphragms, glands, immersed rotors, stators or pistons to leak, clog, corrode or substitute.
Bredel hose pumps also remove the necessity for ancillary equipment similar to dry run protection, seal water flush systems and in-line check valves. A hose change takes only minutes and could be performed in-situ with out particular tools or skilled personnel.
The pumped fluid is totally contained in a long-life hose, protecting operation and maintenance personnel and the environment from undesirable spillages or exposure to chemical compounds. Flow is completely independent of suction and discharge conditions. The Bredel hose is precision machined to ensure move stability and pump performance in robust fluid handling applications.
These industrial pumps achieve move charges as a lot as 475 GPM, transferring up to 80% solids in suspension.
